The Coup Agency

The Coup Agency was founded in 1926 by Edward J. Coup when he began selling insurance for Retailers Mutual Insurance Company. From its very beginning The Coup Agency has been successful by taking care of people’s insurance needs in a professional and friendly way.

In 1936 Real Estate was added to the agency and remains an integral part to this day.

Although the agency has offices in Milton and Lewisburg PA, they actually serve clients through out Pennsylvania for business, personal, disability, accident and life insurance as well as retirement products. Our goal is to have our client’s experience with our agency give them a better understanding of how important their insurance is to their overall financial well-being, knowing that we will recommend the right products for their needs and provide the service they deserve. For this reason the agency receives the majority of their clients through referrals by present clients.

With the majority of the agency now owned by the 3rd and 4th generations of the Coup family it remains noted for its old fashioned values of personal friendly service but also its modern technology and high level of professionalism.
